International Year of the Co-op
The United Nations (UN) has declared 2012 the "International Year of Cooperatives," and Good Earth Market is joining other cooperatives locally, nationwide and across the globe in marking the occasion.

Join us for Lights, Cameras, Co-ops! a video premiere party celebrating food co-ops nationwide!

Upstairs at GEM and online at www.strongertogether.coop/premiere, we'll be showing the first three videos in the thirteen-episode series featuring co-ops from Vermont to California. Refreshments will be served.

The Apple Gallery invites you to the opening Artwalk reception for “Life Lessons” by Rachel Larson Long, M.A., ATR. The evening’s events include a gallery talk by the artist at 6:30pm, a Deli Café dinner special from 4:30pm – 7:00pm (Bunny’s Meatloaf, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Mushroom Gravy, & Green Peas), and live musical entertainment by Alex Nauman and Jeff Long. The exhibit ends March 29, 2012.


Local Producer Fair

Our local producers will be here sampling their goods at our bi-annual Local Producer Fair. Come on down to meet the people who feed you everyday… Dick and Patricia Espenscheid from Wholesome Foods, Kenny Reimche and his Double D Salsa, Riza Gilpin from Tumblewood Teas (just to name a few). We’ll have complimentary coffee and cake, live music (Everett “Doc” Pryor and his honky tonk piano), and samplings from the best local foods has to offer. Good Food. Good Friends. Good Fun.

Just Label It!
A coalition of nearly 400 businesses and organizations dedicated to food safety and consumer rights filed a petition with the FDA on October 4, 2011 to require labeling of genetically engineered (GE) foods, to give consumers the right to know what is in our food.

Lets flood the FDA with comments, letting them know we want GE foods labeled at www.justlabelitorg!
